Although the main house to this project is re-constructed Bradstone but very well weathered I wondered how we were going to make a natural Cotswold stone garage look part of it without sticking out like a sore thumb, this is where a reputable Gloucestershire Cotswolds builder with full knowledge of the local area and understanding of the vernacular materials and techniques as well as connections with local suppliers and tradesmen comes into play. We sourced the stone from one of our main suppliers but had to use re-claimed stone to get anywhere near the tone we wanted to achieve.
We also built an old oak porch on-site over the front door and carried out some minor internal alterations.
The end result really transformed the property both external and internal and we left with a very happy customer.
